Privacy Policy
Applies to all Wear OS watch face applications published by Heena Watch Studio on Google Play
This Privacy Policy applies to every application published under the developer name “Heena Watch Studio” on Google Play (developer page), including all Wear OS watch faces and their phone companion apps listed in Section 1 (each an “App”, together the “Apps”). The Apps are developed and published by Heena Watch Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the Apps collect, how it is used, whom it is shared with, and the choices you have. By installing or using any of our Apps you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Apps.
What we collect: no account, no name, no email — only pseudonymous advertising and diagnostic data collected by Google SDKs.
How long we keep it: we keep no user data on any server of ours. Third-party diagnostic data expires within 14 months. See Section 12.
Health data: heart rate and step readings stay on your watch. They are shown live and are never stored or sent anywhere.
1. Applications Covered by This Policy
This policy covers the following App, and any other application we publish in the future under the developer name Heena Watch Studio:

Our Apps are Wear OS watch faces together with, in some cases, a phone companion app that helps you install and manage the watch face on your smartwatch. All Apps follow the data practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Our Apps do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise location, or any other personal information that directly identifies you.
The Apps automatically collect a limited amount of information through the third-party software development kits (SDKs) described in Section 5:

This information is pseudonymous: it relates to a device or app installation rather than to you by name. Your heart rate and other health or sensor data are never part of this collection — see Section 3.
3. Heart Rate, Fitness & Sensor Data (Processed Locally)
In short: your heart rate never leaves your watch. It is measured by your watch’s built-in sensor, shown on the watch face in real time, and is never stored by us, transmitted to us, or shared with any third party.
Our watch faces may display the time, date, and — depending on the design — your heart rate (BPM), step count, distance, calories burned, your watch’s battery percentage, weather-style decorative elements, or animated effects.
To show your live heart rate, the watch face reads your watch’s heart rate sensor using the Body sensors (BODY_SENSORS) permission, which you grant on the watch. All heart rate, step, distance, and calorie information is read and displayed directly on your watch, processed on the device only, and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We do not store a history of your heart rate, we do not use it for advertising or analytics, and no analytics SDK in our Apps reads your health or sensor data. If you decline the Body sensors permission, the watch face still works — the heart rate element simply shows no reading.
Not a medical device: heart rate readings shown by the watch face come from your smartwatch’s consumer-grade sensor and are provided for general fitness and informational purposes only. They are not intended for medical use, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Where an App includes a phone companion app, it communicates with your watch over the Google Play services Wearable connection (Bluetooth) solely to detect connected watches and to open the Play Store listing on your watch so you can install the watch face. The companion app does not read the contents of your watch, your messages, or your health data. Our watch faces themselves do not contain advertising.
4. How We Use Information
- To display advertising in the phone companion apps, which keeps the Apps free (see Section 5).
- To measure and improve the Apps — understanding which screens are used and how the Apps perform.
- To find and fix crashes and bugs using crash and diagnostic reports.
- To remember your ad-consent choices where consent is required by law.
We do not use collected information to identify you personally, we never sell personal information, and we never use health or sensor data for any of the purposes above.
5. Advertising & Third-Party SDKs
The phone companion apps display advertisements. Ads may be served through the following advertising partners. These partners may collect and use the Google Advertising ID and the technical information described in Section 2 to serve, measure, and (where you have consented) personalize ads:

Our Apps also use the following Google service SDKs:
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — displays the consent form required in the EEA/UK and stores your choices.
- Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage statistics. Firebase privacy information.
- Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports and diagnostics.
- Firebase Performance Monitoring — app performance measurements.
- Google Play services — Wearable connectivity (to communicate with your watch), In-App Review, and In-App Update.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, linked above. Advertising identifiers are used with similar anonymous identity technologies; they can be reset or deleted by you at any time (see Section 9). No advertising or analytics SDK in our Apps has access to your heart rate or any other health or sensor data.
6. Location & Weather Data
A small number of our Apps display weather conditions. Where an App offers this feature, it obtains an approximate location — either from the device’s coarse location provider, with your permission, or from the region inferred from your IP address by the weather data provider — only at the moment a forecast is requested. This is used solely to fetch the forecast for your area.
We do not build a location history, we do not store coordinates on any server, and location data is never used for advertising by us. If you decline the location permission, the affected App will ask you to enter a city name instead, or will simply show no weather. Apps that do not display weather never request location at all.
7. How Information Is Shared
- Advertising partners (Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager and, where enabled, Meta Audience Network) receive the Advertising ID and app-interaction signals in order to serve and measure ads. This is the only sharing of data with third parties that our Apps perform.
- Service providers (Firebase/Google) process crash, diagnostic, performance, and analytics data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes beyond providing the service.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred; any successor must protect it to at least the standard of this policy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, we never share health or sensor data (it never leaves your watch), and we do not share information with any other third parties.
8. Your Consent Choices (GDPR / EEA & UK)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our Apps show a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested. You can choose whether to allow personalized advertising. If you do not consent, the App requests non-personalized ads or no ads, in line with your selection. You can review or change your choice at any time from the “Privacy options” item in the App’s menu/settings.
9. Your Opt-Out Rights & Controls
- Revoke the heart rate (Body sensors) permission: on your watch, go to Settings → Apps & notifications → App permissions (or long-press the watch face → permissions) and turn off Body sensors. The watch face will simply stop showing a heart rate reading.
- Change ad-consent choices: open the App menu → Privacy options (shown where required by law).
- Reset or delete your Advertising ID: on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and choose “Reset advertising ID” or “Delete advertising ID”. Deleting the ID stops it being available to apps.
- Opt out of ad personalization: the same Android settings screen lets you turn off ad personalization.
- Stop all collection: uninstall the App using the standard uninstall process of your device. Uninstalling stops all data collection by that App immediately.
- Ask us: write to heenawearoscreations@gmail.com with the App name and, if you have it, your Advertising ID. We will respond within 30 days and pass any valid deletion request on to the providers listed in Section 5.
10. App Permissions Explained

Our Apps do not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, or files. If a specific App ever requires an additional permission, it is requested in context and used only for the visible feature it enables.
11. Data Security
All data transmitted by our Apps is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Our Apps block unencrypted (cleartext) network traffic at the system level. Your heart rate and sensor data never leave your watch at all. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we and our service providers maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information described in this policy.
12. Data Retention & Deletion
Summary: we operate no user database and store no user data on any server under our control. Everything created by our Apps is either kept on your own device until you remove it, or held for a limited period by Google as our processor and then deleted automatically.

Because our Apps do not have user accounts and cannot identify you, there is no stored profile of you for us to erase. You can nonetheless remove everything associated with our Apps at any time using the controls in Section 9.
13. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are general-audience utilities and are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where required, ad requests respect Google’s child-directed treatment settings. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through any of our Apps, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate action.
14. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR / CCPA / DPDP)
EEA / UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The legal bases we rely on are consent (personalized advertising, where you have given it) and legitimate interests (non-personalized advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and app security). Heart rate data is processed entirely on your device at your direction and is never received by us.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. California residents have the right to know what categories of information are collected (described in Section 2), the right to deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
India (DPDP Act, 2023): you may contact us to exercise the rights available to you as a data principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 16. Note that because our Apps collect only pseudonymous, device-level data, we may be unable to link data to you without additional information; the controls in Section 9 are the most effective way to exercise choice.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Apps, legal requirements, or our practices, including when we publish new Apps (which are covered by this policy from their release). Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our Apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
